(KRON) — Smoke may be visible later this week due to a prescribed burn on Angel Island located in the San Francisco Bay scheduled as early as Wednesday, Cal Park officials announced Monday.
“Two weeks after a prescribed burn at Angel Island State Park was paused, California State Parks, in partnership with CAL FIRE and the Marin County Fire Department, plan to continue the burn as early as Wednesday, Sept. 23, to Thursday, Sept. 24,” officials said.
