(KRON) — Within 24 hours on Monday, three victims were found deceased from three separate traffic collisions across Sonoma County.
The first victim was found just before 8 a.m., when California Highway Patrol officers found a woman’s body in a ditch on Guerneville Road near Frei Road.
Investigators determined that the woman had been either walking or riding a bicycle when she was struck by a hit-and-run driver the previous evening. Her bicycle was found a mile away. CHP officials wrote, “Investigators believe the bicycle was involved in the earlier crash and was subsequently moved more than one mile east of the original crash location, either after becoming entangled with the suspect vehicle or by being intentionally moved.”…
