Portions of Napa County and Santa Rosa were without electricity Friday due to unplanned power outages, impacting more than 5,000 customers combined in Wine Country, Pacific Gas and Electric Co. said.
According to PG&E’s outage map, about 1,963 customers were affected near Angwin in Napa County at about 4:50 p.m. The map showed the outage extended to Deer Park near Highway 29 and Highway 128, as well as toward Pope Valley — a region mainly home to wineries and hotels.
