If you commute along Hearn Avenue over Highway 101 in Santa Rosa, you will see delays this week. Crews are removing trees from nine p.m. to six a.m. and hope to be done by February 1st. It’s just the beginning of work being done in the area. Caltrans will start widening the overpass itself in April, but needs the trees out of the way first. The far-right eastbound lane of the Hearn Avenue overcrossing will be closed during the tree removal work.
