Jack Olyphant, a defensive end/outside linebacker from St. Vincent de Paul College Prep in Petaluma, Calif., announced on social media on Wednesday that he has committed to Cal for 2024 as a preferred walk-on.
Olyphant is rated a two-star prospect by 247 Sports, and he had scholarship offers from FCS schools Sacramento State and University of San Diego and Division II Minot State. But he opted to walk-on at Cal.
Olyphant had 17 tackles for loss, seven sacks and two interceptions in 2023.
