A Sonoma Valley firefighter is expected to be okay after suffering a minor injury while battling a fire that destroyed a vacant commercial building in Sonoma. The firefighter’s face was cut early Sunday morning. He was taken to a hospital, treated and released. A portion of the building’s roof collapsed as it burned, but no one else was injured. The cause and origin of the fire have not been determined.
