A stretch of westbound Highway 12 will be closed this weekend in Santa Rosa, where road crews will be replacing pavement.
Beginning Friday night, work will be taking place between Dutton and Santa Rosa avenues, according to the city’s website.
It attributes project details to Caltrans, but the agency did not immediately respond to a Press Democrat request for information.
According to the city, all lanes will be closed 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. and one lane will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Detours will be in place and drivers should plan on using area roads to get around the closed section. If coming from Highway 101, they will need to exit at off-ramps before reaching Highway 12 and navigate their way around the closed section.
Closures will mirror conditions from this past weekend when work took place in the eastbound lanes.
The work is part of a 3-mile rehabilitation project along Highway 12 between Llano Road and Farmers Lane in Santa Rosa, according to Caltrans.
The project began in June.
