Man Arrested in Santa Rosa for Fentanyl and Gun Possession Along with Outstanding Warrants

A man with several warrants out for his arrest has been found in possession of fentanyl and a gun. On Monday night, a Santa Rosa police officer spotted 36-year-old Jonathan Acevedo in his vehicle parked near the 7-11 on the 2600 block of Santa Rosa Avenue. The officer discovered Acevedo had three warrants out of Sonoma County for failure to appear in court. While contacting Acevedo, the officer found a .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun with 2 loaded magazines as well as suspected meth and fentanyl. Acevedo was arrested for the drugs and the firearm as well as the outstanding warrants.
