Sonoma Co.: Police Hoping To Locate At-Risk 101-Year-Old Man Who Is Missing

Police in Santa Rosa are hoping the public can help them locate a missing at-risk man.

William Gunther, 101, drove away from his residence Monday in the 5000 block of Montgomery Drive between noon and 4:30 p.m. His vehicle is a white 2018 Subaru Legacy with the license plate 8CWR708.

Gunther is white, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 155 pounds with white hair. He was last seen wearing a sweatshirt of an unknown color.

It is possible that Gunther is driving to the area of Goat Rock Beach in Jenner, according to police. The sheriff and state park police have been notified.

Gunther is at-risk due to his age and health condition, police said.

Anyone who sees Gunther or his vehicle should call police immediately at (707) 528-5222.
