Santa Rosa: 101-Year-Old Man Missing Since Driving Away From Home Monday

Santa Rosa police are looking for a missing 101-year-old man who drove away from his residence Monday.

Police say William Gunther left his home in the 5000 block of Montogomery Drive between noon and 4:30 p.m. Monday.

Gunther is 5 feet 6 inches tall and approximately 155 pounds with white hair.

Police said Gunther is at risk due to his age and declining health, as well as mental health issues.

He was driving a white 2018 Subaru Legacy with the California license plate #8CWR708.

Police said Gunther might be driving to the area of Goat Rock Beach in Jenner. The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office and California State Parks rangers have been notified.

Anyone who sees Gunther or has information of his whereabouts is asked to contact Santa Rosa police at (707) 528-5222.
