The suspect was in class at Montgomery High while the warrant was served, police said. A teacher “discreetly” removed him from class at the request of detectives.
The search warrant yielded a 3D printer, a lower receiver for a firearm, a partially completed firearm handle, ammunition, and gang paraphernalia. The gang paraphernalia mostly consisted of drawings and handwritten items, per police.
No weapons were in the boy’s locker when he was arrested, but detectives did find more gang paraphernalia.
The boy was arrested for possession of an unserialized firearm, minor in possession of a handgun, and unlawful management of a firearm.
