U.S. Air Force officials say they weren’t aware of a fighter jet that was seen above Rohnert Park on Monday. The incident created confusion and concern for some Sonoma County residents. A media representative from Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield said the facility had no aircraft above Rohnert Park on Monday. The jet was spotted above Rohnert Park around 1:30 p.m. Monday. Witnesses said it created a loud noise that was heard moments before it appeared directly above them, causing car alarms to go off. The jet was identified as an F22.
