Santa Rosa Parolee Arrested for Assault at Petaluma Apartment Complex

A Santa Rosa parolee has been arrested after assaulting a man in Petaluma. Early Tuesday morning, police say 52-year-old Hiram Joseph went to the Studios at Montero, a Project Homekey supportive housing facility, and confronted the victim at the door of one of the rooms. Joseph then assaulted the man causing facial and head injuries along with loss of consciousness. Joseph fled before police arrived but he was identified as the suspect and was tracked down thanks to the assistance of an ankle monitor he was wearing. He was arrested in South Santa Rosa and charged with assault causing great bodily injury and a parole violation.
