Steve Stephen Cartwright Fowler died on April 11, at age 84. It happened suddenly while he was in the middle of playing golf at the Sebastopol Golf Course. He had been managing his diagnosis of atrial fibrillation-chronically fast and irregular heartbeats. Perhaps walking up the hill in the hot sun aggravated his condition.
