PETALUMA, Calif. – Petaluma is the first Bay Area city to offer free bus rides. The city’s transit services will be completely fare-free as part of a one-year pilot program. City leaders say the goal is to help people learn about public transit, remove cost barriers, and meet the city’s climate goals.
