Residents in Santa Rosa had a brief scare as the Santa Rosa Fire Department and Santa Rosa Police were called to the scene of a vegetation fire yesterday afternoon. According to their Facebook page, the fire occurred at the dead-end of Moraga Drive shortly before 2:30 p.m., charring a modest 50 by 50-foot swath of grass before the crews from the first arriving fire engine were able to swiftly subdue the blaze.
