Motorcyclist Arrested for Driving Recklessly Around Sonoma Valley High School

A motorcyclist was arrested after driving recklessly through a school zone in Sonoma. As school was getting out at Sonoma Valley High School, a Community Resource Officer saw the motorcycle was driving very fast north on Broadway. Other deputies and drivers saw the rider go about 70 MPH, weaving through traffic, and slowed enough to weave through students who were crossing the street in a marked crosswalk. Another deputy managed to stop the rider, 23-year-old Francisco Castro, and arrested him for reckless driving and driving without insurance. He was released with a citation and his motorcycle was towed.
