A former school near Lake Berryessa is set to be turned into lodging, with nine visitor units and a new events barn. The 5-acre former Capell Valley Elementary School campus – located on Capell Valley Road northwest of Moskowite Corner – has been closed since 2010. The Pridmore family, who owns the land, has sought to transform it into a revenue-generating venture to benefit both their family and the local tourism industry.
