You’ll go bananas for the delightful Dixie: today’s Pet of the Week from Tri-County Humane Society!. Dixie is a spayed 3-year-old American Pit Bull/Terrier/Mix who has stolen the hearts of the staff with her sweet personality. She loves to sleep with blankets, and her favorite human food treat is…a banana! Dixie loves car rides; and knows how to sit, shake, lay down, stay, jump up, and wait (commands). She likes to play fetch, but her prey drive leaves stuffies (and cats) out of the question. Dixie does well with dogs but is more selective about dogs smaller than her, and gets excited around younger kids…but probably a little too excited. Dixie is an obedient and happy pupper waiting for you!
