Quarter pound of meth seized during Petaluma drug dealer arrest: PD

( KRON ) — Nearly a quarter pound of methamphetamine was seized Thursday from a suspected drug dealer after a concerned Petaluma resident reported an individual selling narcotics, according to the Petaluma Police Department.

Police responded just after noon to the area of Hopper Street and Caulfield Lane for a report of a person selling narcotics. An individual who matched the description provided by the resident was located and contacted by officers.

It was learned that the suspect, identified as Jesus Orosco, 47, of San Rafael, was on active parole. A parole search uncovered just under a quarter pound of methamphetamine packaged for sale, Petaluma PD said.

Orosco was arrested and booked into the Sonoma County Jail for possession of methamphetamine for sale.
