Seven members of organized crime group arrested in Santa Rosa

SANTA ROSA, California — Seven individuals linked to an organized crime group were arrested following a burglary in Windsor, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office. The suspects, part of a South American Theft Group, were apprehended after a search warrant was executed in Santa Rosa.On January 31, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Sonoma County Sheriff’s dispatch received reports of a burglary in progress at a home in the 500 block of Chablis Drive, Windsor. Deputies responded and found evidence of forced entry, along with surveillance footage capturing three suspects inside the house and one suspect driving the vehicle, stated the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.The case was turned over to the Sheriff’s Office Property Crimes unit for further investigation.
