Three Martinez police officers were fired over misconduct uncovered after two of them shot a driver and a passenger outside a cannabis dispensary in 2023, according to city records.
The shooting occurred after officers responded to a call about an attempted break-in at Velvet Dispensary on Sunrise Drive on Aug. 18, 2023.
