Trial of Animal Rescuer Delayed

This morning, the Sonoma County district attorneys prosecuting animal rescuer Zoe Rosenberg requested to delay her trial and Judge Gnoss granted their motion despite Ms. Rosenberg’s attorney opposing the delay. New trial dates have not yet been set as they are waiting on a hearing next week (4/30) regarding subpoenas Ms. Rosenberg’s attorney filed seeking animal welfare and disease records from Perdue Farms and the CA Dept. of Food and Ag. If the subpoenas are granted, the prosecutors say they would need more time to prepare for trial.
