Vandals are targeting California fairgrounds in repeated incidents; Officials release video of one

PETALUMA, Calif. — The Petaluma Fairgrounds has been hit with multiple acts of vandalism over the past month, with the most recent incident occurring on May 6 around 8:20 p.m., the police department stated.

According to the Petaluma Police Department, an unknown suspect shattered a window at the Livestock Office using what appeared to be a hammer. The crime, captured on video, caused enough damage to be classified as felony vandalism.

This follows earlier incidents: the same window was previously broken on April 17, and on May 4, nails and broken glass were deliberately scattered near the fairgrounds’ new pickleball courts.
