At the Russian River Senior Center, lunch is a gathering, a warm welcome, and, for first-timers, a free invitation to join the community. Chef Larry Boeger, longtime local and co-founder of Timberline Restaurant, now leads the kitchen several days a week, serving up scratch-made meals with heart and flavor. All ages are welcome.
“It’s kind of like Sunday supper, but every week,” Boeger says. “You get a protein, a starch, a veg, maybe a salad — and definitely a dessert. Something good. Not from a box.”…
