Spaghetti Palace may be gone, but the sauce still simmers

After the Spaghetti Palace at the Sonoma County Fair closed, many mistakenly believed all of Arturo “Art” Ibleto’s family businesses had shut down. In reality, his children, Annette and Mark, chose to close only the fair booth.

Annette said several factors influenced their decision. The fair was canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19 and returned the next year as a scaled-down event called Summer Fun Fest. Most of all, the family was still mourning the loss of their father in 2020 and their mother in 2019.

Meanwhile, Pasta King Catering and Ibleto Meats in Cotati, along with Art’s Place Ristorante in Rohnert Park, remained open. Known affectionately as the Pasta King, Art was a beloved figure in Sonoma County, recognized for both his food and generous community service…
