Novato: Police Nab 4 Theft Suspects With Fentanyl, Knife And Fake Ids

Novato officers arrested four people earlier this week after an alleged retail theft spiraled into a bust involving fake IDs, fentanyl, heroin, a concealed dagger, and thousands of dollars worth of stolen goods, according to police.

Around 4 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to a report of a theft from a store in the Vintage Oaks shopping center. According to store staff, four people stole between $2,000 and $3,000 worth of merchandise.

A description of the alleged thieves were given to police, and officers soon identified two women who matched the descriptions near the Sports Basement store. Police allege both women provided them with fake identification…
