On July 7, 2025, deputies received information that Gregg Jackson, 40, of Santa Rosa, had been impersonating a law enforcement officer. Jackson was reportedly using a vehicle outfitted with red and blue emergency lights and was identifying himself as a bounty hunter.
Deputies determined that Jackson was currently out on felony pre-trial release. As part of the terms of his release, he was subject to search of his home and vehicle.
