North Bay Nissan in Petaluma has shut down permanently, the latest in a wave of dealership closures as parent company Nissan contends with deepening financial troubles.
The dealership at 1250 Auto Center Drive ceased operations as of 3 p.m. Friday, according to a notice on its homepage. The site now features a large “Store closing” graphic and a message stating operations have “concluded.”
“It has been a true honor serving the Petaluma and the North Bay communities and we are deeply grateful for your loyalty and support over the years,” the message reads. “While this chapter is closing, exciting plans are already in motion for what’s next at our location, so stay tuned for updates.”…
