August 12, 1925, 100 years ago, you came squalling into this world. You had plenty to say and didn’t stop until March of 2018. You lived and died a newsman, grumpy editor, curmudgeon reporter, off-the-cuff artist, cool cat lover of jazz.

For nearly half a century Jud Snyder made the news in and around Cotati and Rohnert Park lively, jocular, and sometimes hot for the would-be local yokel politicos. Your pastry crumbs and empty stale coffee cups littered the august city council auditoriums and school libraries as you jotted down the not-so-epic words of local orators…
