SANTA ROSA, Calif. (KRON) — Faith leaders and immigrant rights advocates in Sonoma County are holding a hunger strike to urge local officials to adopt a sanctuary ordinance.
The hunger strike, which has been ongoing for a week, involves participants staying overnight in tents outside the Board of Supervisors building in Santa Rosa.
