The day after a marathon meeting at the high school at the epicenter of a swelling public debate about a proposed novel plastics recycling plant, regional air regulators have extended the comment period another month.
The Bay Area Air Quality Management District on Tuesday updated the public notice for Resynergi Inc.’s application to turn on the processing plant within 1,000 feet of Credo High School in the SOMO Village mixed-use community in southeast Rohnert Park. Rather than ending this coming Monday, the public now will have until Oct. 3 to weigh in.
