High-Speed Chase and Multiple Burglaries Lead to Arrest in Windsor, Vallejo Police Apprehend Suspect

In the pre-dawn quiet of Windsor, California, a vehicle theft spiraled into a series of events, including a high-speed pursuit and a string of residential burglaries. According to a social media post by the Town of Windsor Police Department, the incident began in the 9000 block of Wallace Way at about 2:25 AM on Sunday. Once spotted by deputies, the stolen vehicle led authorities on a chase through Windsor’s sleepy streets as the driver refused to comply with attempts to pull over.

The chase ended with the suspect leaving the vehicle on US-101 and escaping on foot into a neighborhood. Law enforcement, including K9 units from Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office, air support from CHP, and drone assistance from Santa Rosa Police, set up a perimeter but could not apprehend the suspect.
