This classic Napa Valley winery closed this year. Now it’s back with new owners

After shutting down earlier this year, one of Napa Valley’s most classic estates has been revived by surprising new owners.

Two friends and wine industry neophytes, Nick Livanos and Eric Bryan Seuthe, purchased Newton Vineyard from Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH). The news, first reported by Wine Spectator, comes seven months after the luxury French conglomerate announced its permanent closure. In 2020, the winery, tasting room and all but 5 acres of vineyards were destroyed in the Glass Fire — just weeks after Newton had completed a major renovation.

A purchase price was not disclosed…
