(KRON) – An armed 88-year-old man was arrested after shooting into a residence, the Petaluma Police Department said.
At approximately 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, the Petaluma PD dispatch center was notified of a man who armed himself with a firearm after a family issue. The man was identified as 88-year-old Petaluma man Ronald Shipley.
Arriving officers responded to the home in the 1300 block of Marian Way and were informed that Shipley was armed and in the backyard. Police deployed a drone to find Shipley. The footage captured Shipley firing a single round while in the backyard.
