Jordan Mead pleads not guilty to domestic violence and false imprisonment charges

Jordan Mead, a former Santa Rosa Junior College information technology employee, pleaded not guilty to one felony count of false imprisonment and one misdemeanor count of inflicting bodily injury on a spouse, in Sonoma County Superior Court Sept. 9.

Mead told Judge Laura Passaglia that he denied all the charges when entering his non-guilty pleas. He will remain in custody until his preliminary hearing. The new charges come less than six months after Mead’s arrest for allegedly stalking an SRJC vice president outside her home.

Mead’s attorney, Ibrahim Agil, requested that Mead’s preliminary hearing on felony stalking charges, set for Oct. 6, be moved to Sept. 29 to reduce the number of hearing dates. The judge denied this request until Agil submits the proper paperwork…
