SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A decomposed body that was recovered in May at San Francisco’s Ocean Beach has been identified as a Rohnert Park man who went missing in April, authorities announced Wednesday.
Following DNA analysis, the California Department of Justice confirmed on Sept. 18 the identity of the body as Wen Hui Wu, 38, of Rohnert Park. Wu’s family was notified by officials of the discovery.
Wu was reported missing on April 16 by his significant other after he did not return home for approximately two days, according to the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety.
