Two people, including a 9-year-old girl, were rescued from the ocean in separate incidents in Sonoma County over the weekend, authorities said.
The first incident happened around 12:45 p.m. in Wrights Beach just north of Bodega Bay, where crews responded to a report of a person who sustained a leg injury after being struck by a wave, said Karen Hancock, a spokesperson for the Sonoma County Fire District.
Officials transported the person via helicopter and ambulance to a local hospital, Hancock said. The victim’s identity was not immediately released…
