FredRicco McCurry has been appointed a Mendocino County Superior Court judge, Gov. Gavin Newsom’s office announced Sept. 18. He fills the vacancy left after Judge Jeanine Nadel retired in January 2024.
McCurry has served as a deputy public defender at the Mendocino County Public Defender’s Office for the past three years, and this year became a deputy in the Mendocino County Alternate Public Defender’s Office, according to the announcement.
