Genero’s Deli, a new eatery from Ian and Margaret Marks, is getting ready to open in Sebastopol at 6760 McKinley Street, Suite 120.
The upcoming deli will move into the former home of The Farmer’s Wife, located in The Barlow, a popular shopping and dining destination, according to a recent liquor license application. Co-owner Ian Marks tells What Now San Francisco that the team is targeting a soft opening around mid-January 2026. While additional details about the concept have not yet been announced, customers can expect a classic deli experience, likely with a menu of sandwiches and traditional fare based on the name.
This project marks a fresh addition to Sebastopol’s food scene, though it is unrelated to the now-closed Giovanni’s Italian Delicatessen, which previously operated at a different address in the city.
