Novato Police Department has made an additional arrest related to last month’s shooting incident that was linked to a failed robbery attempt, as per a social media post by the department. After initial detentions on October 1, detectives have continued to investigate, leading to the apprehension of a 16-year-old male yesterday. The young suspect is now facing charges for aiding and abetting a crime, participating in a criminal street gang, and violating probation. The events trace back to a September 1st confrontation on Third St near Grant Ave, where two masked individuals reportedly demanded money from three men at about 9:15 PM and asked about gang affiliations.
