A missing hiker was found safe after he got lost on a 2,500-foot-high mountain in California on Halloween night.
On Friday, Oct. 31, at 11:20 p.m. local time, a search and rescue team was asked to continue searching for a missing man, who had been hiking on the north side of Mount Tamalpais, Marin County Search and Rescue said in a statement shared on social media.
The unidentified hiker had been walking since 2:30 p.m., and communicated with his wife via text at 5:30 p.m. He told his partner that he had made a wrong turn, but knew his location. At the time, he estimated it would take him 90 minutes to arrive back at his car at Rock Springs trailhead, officials said. The man said that his phone battery was close to dead…
