Goodbye, Puffs! Hello Percy Jackson!

From November 7th to the 9th, Crusader Community Theater delivered their rendition of the play Puffs, Or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic, the 2015 original play by Matt Cox. Inspired by Harry Potter book series written by J.K Rowling, the play follows the often overlooked house, the Puffs (Hufflepuff), and follows the characters Wayne Hopkins (Noelle Moran, Freshman), Megan Jones (Riley Gorman, Senior), and Oliver Rivers (Sebastian Tineo, Junior) as they begin their courses in the fictional magic school. The cast and crew worked tirelessly to bring the world of Puffs to life and to do justice to the comedic play.

The Puff gang, composed of the characters Wayne, Oliver, Megan, Cedric, Leanne, Susie, Sally, Hannah, Ernie Mac, and J. Finch drove the plot forward as they chased their dream of becoming House Cup champions and they became heroes, even if their definition of champions meant third place. In the end, they learn that everyone is a hero in their own story.
