Denny’s may be your go-to for a Grand Slam breakfast, but the restaurant chain is experiencing a major shake-up following a $620 million buyout that will make it private. Bought out by a group consisting of TriArtisan Capital Advisors, Treville Capital Group, and Yadav Enterprises, the company is planning to close 150 locations by the end of 2025.
Some closures have already started, with at least one Santa Rosa diner having shut its doors according to local reports, though a full list of affected restaurants has not yet been announced. With more than 1,300 U.S. locations still operating, many diners are wondering whether their neighborhood restaurant is next.
