Thanksgiving Day was filled with food, fellowship, and gratitude as the Rotary Club of Rohnert Park-Cotati, in partnership with Sally Tomatoes Catering, hosted its annual Complimentary Community Thanksgiving Meal Program, this year expanding to two locations: the Rohnert Park Senior Center and the Cotati Room behind City Hall.
The well-established Rohnert Park meal site saw a full house once again, with guests lining up around the building to enjoy a warm, catered holiday meal. In total, hundreds of seniors and local residents shared in the experience, reconnecting with neighbors and enjoying the spirit of the season.
For the first time, a second event was held in the City of Cotati, a vital expansion prompted by the recent suspension of SNAP benefits, which continues to affect many residents facing food insecurity. While the Cotati turnout was more modest—around 40 meals served—it was deeply appreciated by all who attended.
