(KRON) — A Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office helicopter helped authorities track down and arrest a driver who ran from police in Santa Rosa Friday.
The driver initially sped away from a Santa Rosa Police Department officer attempting to pull the car over at 4:50 p.m. The sheriff’s office helicopter responded and found the car driving near Santa Rosa Avenue and Highway 12.
“Despite no ground units actively pursuing it at the time, the vehicle continued driving recklessly,” the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office said. “A nearby Deputy spotted the vehicle, which again attempted to flee, prompting the Deputy to initiate a pursuit.”…
