Juvenile Suspect Arrested in Connection with Fatal Hit-and-Run in Rohnert Park

ROHNERT PARK, CA — “On November 28, 2025 at approximately 6:35pm, the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety (RPDPS) received a 911 call regarding a vehicle versus pedestrian traffic collision at the intersection of Snyder Lane and Capri Way in Rohnert Park. RPDPS Police and Fire personnel arrived at the scene within five minutes of the initial dispatch and immediately began providing life-saving efforts to the pedestrian. Unfortunately, the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision.

RPDPS Officers and Detectives continued investigating this incident and were able to identify the suspect as a 17-year-old male Sonoma County resident. On November 29, 2025, RPDPS Officers and Detectives executed a search warrant in Petaluma where the suspect and the vehicle involved were located.
