Dec. 26 (UPI) — Police and animal services personnel in California came to the rescue of a horse that escaped home and went running through a road during a winter storm.
The Sebastopol Police Department confirmed a call came in just after 4 a.m. on Christmas Eve reporting a horse wandering into the roadway in the area of Bodega Avenue and Pleasant Hill Road.
An officer was able to keep the horse contained amid the major winter storm until North Bay Animal Services personnel arrived on the scene.
