Santa Rosa has earned the distinction of being named the safest city in California for 2025, according to a recent WalletHub study. After evaluating 182 cities across the United States, including the most populous metros and at least two of the most populous cities in each state, Santa Rosa emerged as the top city in California and ranked 14th nationwide for overall safety. The study, published at the end of last year, assessed various factors, including home and community safety, natural disaster risk, and financial stability, as reported by California City News.
