(KRON) — Heavy rain and flooding slammed parts of the Bay Area, resulting in road closures, weather warnings, and traffic delays. The National Weather Service is advising of moderate to heavy rainfall Monday afternoon into evening with a risk of flooding across parts of the North Bay, Bay Area, and Santa Cruz mountains.
In Marin County, the California Highway Patrol reported road closures due to flooding along:
- Highway 101 Northbound to Highway 1 offramp
- Highway 101 Southbound to Seminary Drive
- Highway 101 Southbound to Lucky Drive
As of 5:57 p.m., CHP reported that all closures were now open.
